1. In July, 2005, the construction of the Waidiao-Cezi offshore
pipeline project based on horizontal directional drilling (HDD)
and using Baosteel BGDS55 high anti-torsion drill pipes was
completed, setting up a world record in terms of the length of
the crossing.

2. In January, 2008, the drilling of the 7,620-meter Lundong
Well No.1 in Tarim Oilfield was successfully completed using
Baosteel NC52 non-standard drill pipes. The well was then the
deepest well of PetroChina. The drilling result indicated that
compared with imported API drill pipes of the same
specifications and grade, NC52 non-standard drill pipes'
drilling fluid displacement was approximately 28% higher and
service life was 18% longer. The quality reached the world's
leading level.

3. In January and October, 2009, Baosteel BGXT26 super high
anti-torsion drill pipes were applied for successful drilling of
the 6,280-meter Tazhong Well 451C and the 6,875-meter Keshen
Well No.5 in Tarim Oilfields, which marked China's first local
production and application of super high anti-torsion drill
pipes, the top-end products in the category of drill pipes.
Before that, only two companies in the world, respectively
located in America and Germany, were able to produce such
products, and even the OCTG giant Japan was incapable of
producing them.

4. In January, 2011, the compound tubular column comprising NC52
non-standard drill pipes, BGDS40 high anti-torsion drill pipes
and BGXT26 super high anti-torsion drill pipes was applied for
successful drilling of the 8,023-meter Keshen Well No.7 in Tarim
Oilfield, which broke the record of Sinopec's deepest well
created in 2008 when the 7,620-meter well was completed in Tarim
Oilfield using Baosteel's drilling pipes. Therefore, another
milestone in the history of domestic drilling pipes was created.

5. In October, 2013, Baosteel BGXT42M Super 13Cr Super High
Anti-torsion Air-Tight Drill Pipe was successfully applied for
Dibei Well 101 in Tarim Oilfield. Made of Super 13Cr, this
product has both the function of air-tight tubing and the
function of super high anti-torsion drill pipes, hence the first
of its kind in the world.
